Subject	Are the elbows necessary for dual pop install?

Message	Does removing the two 90 degree bends help or will this cause turbulence or actually take away from air flow due to the position of the filters? I'm interested in this option not really for performance gains (always a plus though) but because I currently have my alc tank mounted under the nose panel. In order to go dual pop I'd have to relocate it, I think with a set up similar to this I could make it work.
